HAIKU (Page 3)

to afford an umbrella,
I learn to like rain

shore footprint
walking on spent time

arranged marriage
the wedding hall filled
with second thoughts

autumn’s last leaf
sillage on the branch
farewell kiss

lover’s fountain
wishing for each other
on the same coin

ants floating
adrift in golden honey
a sip too many

orange sun-
the nightmare not buried
deep enough

wilderness canyon
my shout echoes
in my dad’s voice

In mummy’s bed
no salt needed
in the corners

traffic jam-
the anger we trade
in horns
